SWC Group is a nationally recognized leader in the accounts receivables management industry. Since its inception in 1974, they have successfully anticipated market trends, which has resulted in expanding into new market sectors and new service offerings. In 2014, they began making significant additions to their leadership team, which positioned them to expand into more strategic directions. The leadership team realized it was time to refresh the company brand to reflect its growth strategy and refine it’s proposal development processes.

THE GOALS

SWC Group hired me to spearhead the corporate rebranding project and to manage their ongoing proposal development needs.

Their goals included:

  • Generating a new company name and tagline
  • Creating a new corporate identity
  • Developing new websites and marketing collateral
  • Creating awareness of new brand to target audiences
  • Establishing proposal development processes
  • Creating strategic and creative RFP responses

DELIVERABLES

Sharell led the corporate rebranding project from start to completion. We were responsible for developing the project schedule with achievable milestones. As project manager, I provided all of the copywriting, and worked directly with Drotz Design, who provided all graphic design and web development. Major deliverables included:

  • Renaming company from Southwest Credit to SWC Group
  • Crafting a tagline
  • Creating a logo
  • Developing a corporate website, consumer care website and product specific website
  • Producing marketing collateral including corporate and product specific brochures, 5-page company overview, sales presentation, business card and stationery
  • Designing a trade show booth
  • Writing and distributing press releases
  • Establishing an email marketing campaign
  • Implementing a direct mail campaign
  • Executing social media profile updates

Proposal development deliverables included:

  • Establishing proposal processes including vendor registrations, RFP reviews, Go/No Go processes, proposal management and proposal tracking
  • Creating content library and boilerplate information
  • Developing proposal template
  • Continuing to develop winning RFP responses

RESULTS

  • Established a name that changed the perception of the company from a regional company to a nation-wide company
  • Created a tagline that speaks to both their clients and delinquent account holders
  • Created websites that have a professional, bold design with enhanced features for their customers
  • Increased awareness of brand and capabilities
  • Increased traffic to websites
  • Won contract renewals and contract awards in new and existing market sectors from submitted and won proposals
